Six years after visiting with Akram Khan Company when performing Vertical Road, Lali will be back in Russia, in Moscow for a four-days workshop at the Modern Theater, between 27th and 30th March.
From 10.00 to 13.00, participants will have the opportunity to explore her work through the “From Gravity to Lightness” intensive which focuses on learning how to use the floor when moving, emphasizing the work on the feet as a base and a support for the movement; identify where the weight is and where to find the freedom in the movements through phrases and improvisations. Also studying rhythm and voice, they will investigate how they can reach a theatrical physicality.
