Zitzània

Zitzània is a duet that combines the elegance of the circus with the fluidity of the dance, focusing on physicality and difference. Through the manipulation of bodies, she explores how two contrasted presences can interact and complement each other. Like zitzania, a plant that grows between wheat with its own beauty and uniqueness, artists investigate what it means to inhabit the space of the other, a fragile and unusual territory that becomes the creative starting point.

This piece is the result of a connection forged over the years between Lali Ayguadé and Joan Ramon Graell. After having created duets together in their youth, they now collaborate again, motivated by a deep friendship and the desire to explore new possibilities from their artistic and personal experiences. This meeting becomes an opportunity to reinvent itself and rediscover itself in a scenic language that mixes circus, dance and the complicity of a shared bond.
